Mahamaya Lifesciences was established in May 2002 with its registered office in New Delhi by Directors Mr. Krishnamurthy Ganesan and Mrs. Lalitha Krishnamurthy. With the vast experience of the promoter in the agrochemical sector, Mahamaya's focus and investment were on the introduction of vital molecules that were important for Indian Agriculture.
The company initially focused on importing and registering pesticide molecules not produced domestically in India. After successful registration, it marketed these molecules both as technical grade and as value-added end-use formulations for domestic manufacturers and multinational corporations.
In December 2021, Mahamaya commissioned its own state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at Dahej, Gujarat — transforming from a trading and registration company into a fully integrated agrochemical manufacturer producing brand products, bulk formulations, and export-grade products.
