During the Rabi season, Mr. Sunil Saini was cultivating tomato in Mundota, Kalwar, Jaipur. At the crop establishment stage, he was looking for a solution that could support stronger early plant development, improve crop establishment and help reduce crop losses.
To evaluate the treatment under actual field conditions, treated tomato plants were compared with untreated plants, allowing differences in plant growth and overall crop performance to be observed.
The Solution
Mayamectin was applied to Mr. Sunil Saini's tomato crop during the crop establishment stage across a cultivation area of 1,400 sq. m.
The treated plants were monitored alongside untreated plants to assess crop establishment, root development, meristematic growth and overall plant vigour.
